Ogoja/Yala Empowerment: Jarigbe Donates Cars, Bikes, Machines And Generators To Constituents

In what many described as ‘”simply uncommon”, the Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency representative, Hon. Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe reformed the view of his constituents towards political representation with his “sustainable development programme” so called constituency empowerment.

At the Ogoja Local Government Council Secretariat, today, some beneficiaries of the scheme went home with cars, some, motor bikes, while others, sewing machines and grinding machines, even as others left home with power generators amid exceeding joy shared among family, friends and spectators.

31 pieces of motor bikes, 36 sewing machines, 25 grinding machines, 10 power generators and 4 vehicles were all that accompanied the several cash donations from the benefactor, Hon. Jarigbe who told CrossRiverDaily that all that is on his mind at the moment is “to do more for my people”.

One of the vehicles went to the Ogaja transport union, one to Yala transport union and the remaining two were distributed each to Mr. Ayawo Ukpeche (Yala) and Mr. Michael Ogar (Ogoja).

One of the beneficiaries and Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers, Ogoja, Mr. John Akimo who briefed CrossRiverDaily after receiving his portion said the feelings are fantastic. Howthat, Hon. Jarigbe has no problem come 2019. Assuring that his union is 100% committed to his (Jarigbe’s) reelection bid.

Another beneficiary who got a sewing machine, Mrs. Regina Agbaku told CrossRiverDaily that she has always been praying for Jarigbe even in her closet.

According to her, God personally brought Jarigbe to bless her life while confessing her family’s unalloyed support to his political ambitions even beyond the Green Chambers.

The event was graced by Mr. Matthew Orim, the Chief of Staff to the governor, Mr. Patrick Ebam, the State Deputy Chairman of PDP, and other statesmen.
