The Cross River State House of Assembly Committee on Due Process headed by Hon. Edward Ajang has guaranteed firm readiness and effectiveness in discharging its duties to the overall best interest of the state.
Hon. Ajang speaking on the responsibilities of all members of the committee during its inaugural meeting held over the weekend at the Assembly Complex, said the need for the committee to commence full activities was essential if it must meet its set goals.
The highlight of the meeting was to streamline its activities towards achieving its targeted assignment.
Hon. Ajang noted that “Due process is one of the Policies of Government that has been able to instill transparency, accountability, and transformation of Government Policies” thus, encouraging every member to commit themselves to serving the state and the Assembly.
“As part of our activity, the Committee will be engaging various Government Stakeholders involved in procurement Processes, including all procurement officers in all MDA’s,” Hon. Ajang said as the committee scheduled a courtesy visit to Due Process and Price Intelligent Bureau for Friday 20th September, 2019.
