With much already said and even much yet unsaid about the nomination of former NNPC boss and governorship aspirant, Chief Godwin Jeddy Agba, last night, the Spokesperson of Sen. John Owan Enoh’s campaign organization, Mr. Dan Amor, in an exclusive chat with Cross River Daily, also reacted to the said nomination, on behalf of Sen. Owan Enoh and Team.
In the chat, Mr. Dan spoke on the welfare of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Cross River State following Jedy’s nomination, the body language of Sen. Owan concerning the nomination and also on the lamentation video of one Miss Bukie Okangbe which is now viral.
Below is an exact duplication of Mr. Dan Amor’s note on Jedy’s nomination and Owan’s position:
“NO MORE DIVISION IN CRS APC:
“It’s now that our dear state would play host to politics of civility, maturity and comportment. I have always believed that the bane of our politics is the absence of equanimity on the part of losers to accept defeat and the lack of magnanimity on the part of winners to share their victory. In our own case, although Sen. John Owan Enoh was not particularly keen on being appointed a minister since he believes that justice will be done at the state governorship election petition tribunal, his visit today (24/7/2019) [yesterday] to Prince Goddy Geddy Agba the ministerial nominee for Cross River State is an ample testimony to the fact that the All Progressives Congress in our dear state has embraced total reconciliation and the politics of maturity.
“Sen. Owan Enoh’s solidarity visit to Prince Geddy Agba is therefore the most salutary development in the state in recent times. This responsible politics is an idea whose time has come. All hail our minister and our soon to be inaugurated governor,” Dan AMOR.
On Miss Bukie’s video, Mr. Dan said:
“The video did NOT emanate from Sen. John Owan Enoh’s media office. It’s a spurious and fallacious concoction which is the figment of the imagination of its authors. Sen. Owan Enoh’s solidarity visit to Prince Geddi Agba today [yesterday] to congratulate him on his nomination as minister representing Cross River State in the next Federal Executive Council has put paid to any contrary insinuation or speculation,” Mr. Dan Amor.
