Citizens Conference 2018: John Gaul To Lead Discuss On “Not Too Young To Run And Then What?”

Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. John Gaul Lebo has been handed an invite to lead discuss on “Not Too Young To Run And Then What?” at the Citizens Conference 2018 in Ilorin, Kwara State.

The invite was contained in a letter from the convener, Oluwaseun Awogbenle to Mr. Speaker dated 23rd July and made available to Cross River Daily News.

Describing John Gaul as a quintessential legislator in Cross River State and a public servant who has shown tremendous capacity, character and competence in public service, the organizers established an appeal to Mr. Speaker to seize their event to share his thoughtful position and provide a practical framework for the next line of action for the Not Too Young To Run law.

Also, John Gaul’s recommendations at the conference which is billed to hold at Kwara State Banquet Hall on August 11, the organizers said are positive would form a political compass and model in terms of approach and processes that can work for young people who have a strong will, desire and interest in public service.

Oluwaseun Awogbenle added he was optimistic John Gaul’s discuss would greatly enrich the polity and strengthen their quest of finding a leadership model that works.
