Christian Association Nominates Edem Duke, Idahosa, Ortom, Others For Award Of Integrity

The National Association of Christian Journalists, NACJ has honoured Chief Edem Duke, Governor Samuel Ortom, actress Joke Silver, Bishop Isaac Idahosa, Senator Usman Umar and a few other prominent Nigerians with nominations for award of integrity.

The nominations, according to NACJ, is in recognition of the awardees’ personal integrity and strength of character in the course of their respective careers.

In a statement signed by its secretary, Mr. Charles Okhai, NACJ said: “Today, nations all over the world are yearning for men of integrity to occupy their corridors of power because integrity is the cornerstone of good leadership that ensures a healthy society.

“Against this backdrop, Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists is poised to encourage and acknowledge integrity against corruption as she rolls out the drums to celebrate a few of Nigeria’s illustrious sons and daughters who have been able to hold on to the virtues of integrity in their daily lifestyle as leaders.”

The Awards will be presented to the nominees in October at an event which is themed “Integrity is Everything.” Eminent journalist, Mr. Ray Ekpu will deliver the keynote address titled: Integrity, the Key Factor for Building a Virile Nation.
