2019 Presidency: Sowore Arrives Calabar, Initiates #TakeBackNigeria Movement

Owner of Sahara Reporters, a critic mogul, Omoyele Sowore has arrived the city of Calabar, the Cross River State capital creating awareness for his presidential ambition come 2019.

Sowore while attending to journalists upon his arrival at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport, Calabar today initiated a movement, #TakeBackNigeria in the state disclosing that the country which according to him belonged to all of us was long stolen and that the time to retrieve it was now, noting that he has been fighting thieves his entire life.

With the intention to mobilize support for his #TakeBackNigeria initiative, Comrade Sowore emphasized the need for Nigerian youths to occupy sensitive positions however, maintaining that it is not just about the young person as it were but a young person who is responsible, has intellect and capacity to take the country to next level and also a young person who has abandoned the analogue mentality and is well equipped with the workings of a digital age.

Describing his movement as a global one with broad followership, the presidential aspirant said that recently he visited the United States of America and the United Kingdom wewhe his initiative is enjoying great support and that he is still going places and still spreading his message for a reclaimed Nigeria.

On which political platform he would be running, Sowore said that it was very difficult for him to make a choice stating that his movement cannot afford to polute its dreams by embracing a political party he was yet to understand its ideologies. However, Mr. Sowore said he is having talks with a lot of political parties and that by the end of the day, they will choose only that which they consider the best.

Concerning his blueprints for Nigeria, Sowore said his dreams are centered so much on education; howthat, in the event he becomes the president, there would be a state of emergency in education and that as a top priority, he will not buy any school fee increment idea to enable every Nigerian afford it.

Mr. Sowore also mentioned primary health facilities, 24 hour power supply and turning Nigeria to a digital hub for Africa as parts of his desires for the Nigeria of his dreams.
